The Border Mill prides itself on producing wonderfully soft yarns, with “oodles of character and impeccable provenance”. They work on a small scale, mixing both natural and dyed fibres and blending and spinning by hand in their own tiny mill in the Scottish Borders.
Please note: This yarn has a very light coating of conditioning oil to protect the delicate fibres and reduce static created during processing. You can easily remove this by gently hand washing your finished knit in warm water using a wool detergent. You’ll find the yarn will bloom slightly leaving your handknit even softer than before.
For UK delivery we use Royal Mail’s 2nd Class Letter & Parcel service. Items are normally dispatched within 1-3 working days, provided the goods are in stock. Delivery times can vary, but are typically 2-3 days for UK mainland.
To give you the best results we always check the dye lot numbers match within each order. If for any reason it is not possible to complete your order using only one dye lot we will contact you as soon as possible.
