Retreat Super Chunky shares the same qualities as a soft and gentle roving which means it hasn’t been spun like your conventional yarns, but will add a subtle halo effect to your knitted garments. Machine washing will result in felting, so it’s certainly not the best yarn for children’s knits which do have a tendency to need the washing machine!
